Position Title: Regional Sales Manager
Reporting Line: Head of Sales
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and managing all commercial activities of the business in his/her region. He/she focuses on the development and implementation of an innovative, growth-focused commercial strategy, focusing primarily on new revenue areas and emerging markets.
The RSM actively reviews the competitive environment and works internally, with the retailers sourcing merchandise from C&S, and with Sales Team to adjust promotional plans where appropriate and prepare recommendations as needed.
Has to ensure: 100% coverage of the territory, distribution, and achieve monthly targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creating regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
• Supporting Store Managers with day-to-day store operation
• Evaluating store and individual performances.
• Report on regional sales results
• Forecast quarterly and annual profits
• Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
• Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
• Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
• Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
• Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
• Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Leadership and Management of Country Operations
• Provide strong, visible, and inspirational leadership to the Sales team, thereby delivering bottom line business results
• Lead the region Sales teams in the resolution of operational problems on a day-to-day basis
• Lead the contribution towards new or innovative approaches to policy and operational issues
• Monitor operational risks through the management of a comprehensive risk framework to assess risks and devise risk mitigation plans
Working Knowledge:
• He/She should be kept abreast of industry trends, market and competitors' activities, and serves as a business representative at major industry events, conferences or trade shows.
• He/She leads presentations for business development and is involved in meetings with key business stakeholders.
• He/She is a team leader who is, able to motivate and ensure a highly effective team of sales managers.
• He/She has strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• He/She must have a good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behaviour.
• He/She is also required to build and maintain quality relationships with customers, stakeholders, and other companies. Demonstrated people management and leadership capabilities in a fast-growing organization.
• Ability to assess risks and exercise judgment in making important decisions (Risk Management & Internal Controls Management)
Job Requirements
• A holder of a minimum bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent in a relevant field, a Master’s degree is an additional
• 5 to 10 years experience in a senior leadership role in a growing business of reasonable size
• Sales, Marketing, and Consumer-oriented.
• Experience in managing and supporting staff in hardship locations.
• Experience with conflict-related displacement issues.
• Multi-channel sales distribution experience e.g., door-to-door, in-house retail, third-party retail, and partnerships.
Language(s):
• English language with excellent verbal communication skills.
Technology:
•
Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales ERP.
